Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at the Village Hotel Edinburgh, with a fantastic self-check-in experience and a cozy room that had a lovely atmosphere. The location made it easy for us to explore the city, and the breakfast selection was impressive. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out, but I wish we had made better use of the complimentary drink voucher that was left in our room.
The hotel provided a clean and tidy environment, and the club rooms were quite comfortable for our stay. The location is very convenient for getting into the city center, but the dining experience was overshadowed by high prices and limited menu options. Additionally, issues with the fitness facilities were disappointing, but the friendly staff did enhance our overall experience.
I had a disappointing spa day experience. The reception areas of the hotel were nice, but the lack of clear signage led to confusion. While my spa treatments were enjoyable, the staff seemed absent and I felt rushed. On top of that, the extra charges for items like robes and fries felt excessive considering the overall service quality. I wouldn't consider returning.
I had mixed feelings about my stay at the Village Hotel Edinburgh. The reception staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, which set a positive tone for my visit. However, I was really disappointed to find the pool and health facilities were closed for maintenance, especially since I chose this hotel partly for those amenities. The dining experience was also underwhelming, with slow service and a soggy club sandwich. The hotel is conveniently located with easy bus access to the city center, but the room cleanliness left much to be desired.
I had a decent stay at the hotel overall. The location was convenient, being close to local attractions, and the rooms were clean with some nice features. However, the dining experience left something to be desired, with service issues during meal times, which was frustrating. The facilities could also use some attention, especially the pool area, which was enjoyable but not without issues.
